I am Chloé Ruchon , just graduated from the Strasbourg « Ecole supérieure des arts décoratifs » (ESAD) and the « Barbie Foot » is one of my graduation masterpieces.

I choose one object as the starting point and I transform its primary use. I manipulate the codes, divert functions, mix the references connecting completely foreign worlds.

Then, the objects deliver us new stories, while questioning our society and the world around us.

The idea is to create design that causes surprise, emotions and questions from the audience ;

Sometimes talking about sensitive subjects with humour or even irony.
